About this position
What you can expect
Your tasks include the support of the network infrastructure and the required security mechanisms, especially for our cloud service offerings. The further development of the infrastructure in terms of network virtualization and security solutions is also part of your area of responsibility. You will take responsibility for the administration of network systems, the elimination of faults and the creation of documentation. You have the necessary experience to carry out projects on your own responsibility. With your professional competence you support our sales team.
What you should bring to the table table
- Completed studies in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist in the field of system integration or comparable IT training
- Relevant professional experience appropriate to the position
- Experience in network support (VLAN, routing, virtualization), especially in the secure handling of switches and routers (Cisco - IOS, NX-OS) as well as in the setup of firewall systems (Watchguard)
- Good knowledge of individual network topics from the LAN and WAN area (e.g. IP-based protocols, routing and switching, "Quality of Service", VPN solutions, LAN/WAN management)
- Experience in troubleshooting, connection problems and basic knowledge of Active Directory and DNS
- Ideally, your profound knowledge is complemented by a certificate
- You enjoy working in a team, but you also enjoy acting on your own responsibility
- Very good command of the English language in written and spoken form
- High sense of responsibility and analytical skills as well as high intrinsic motivation, team spirit and commitment
- Convincing communication skills and a confident appearance round off your profile
